How was your weekend? In theory I'd have liked to get this post out yesterday but hey ho, these things happen.
The main event of my weekend was Lytham Festival up in Lytham St Annes and seeing the one and only Mr Bryan Adams.
And boy, he did not disappoint.
He was charming, lovely, seemed to really understand the crowd he was playing to and still seemed genuinely taken aback by the fact that everyone knew all of his songs. The concert was a mixture of all the old classics, which he still plays with effort and respect, and his new songs, which he played with excitement.
I'm not sure what I was expecting him to be like, but he exceeded my expectations in every way shape and form.
Top songs had to be; All For Love, You Belong to Me, Summer of '69 (obviously) and Heaven.
