After my last post concerning my Bobbi Brown makeup lesson, I realised I mostly talked about the experience, so this post is going to share some tips and tricks that I have learnt.
Tightlining
The process of lining your eye under the lashes. This is one of the things I found made the most difference to my face, it really shaped my eyes and gave me the look I wanted. It also was something that I knew I could do at home.
A lot of product make a subtle difference
Particularly under my eyes, there were four different products just to make it look like I had slept for 10 hours. Did it make a difference? Definitely. Would I do this at home? Absolutely not, I do not have time for that shit.
Don't judge an eye shadow by it's colour
One of the colours that suits my face best (I have now learnt) is heather. When the colour first goes on, it looks like you have been punched in the face. Fast forward to a few minutes later when it has been blended and you are wearing eyeliner and mascara and BOOM, new favourite eye shadow shade.
Products I would recommend
The colours are just what work on me, so if you have similar colouring, I would recommend but the recommendations are mostly for the product themselves.
Long Wear Gel Eyeliner - Steel Ink or Black
Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick - Violet Plum
Sparkle Eyeshadow - Pebble
Perfectly Defined Long Wear Brow Pencil - Taupe
